This solid sterling chain features a beautiful 1 and 3/8” T-bar suspended at the center as well as a matching swivel clasp at each closure end, fashioned in the style of a Victorian Albert Chain. At 35 grams, this chain has a wonderful weight to it without feeling overly chunky. Wear alone or layer with a variety of other chain shapes. In the second image shown here, it’s layered with another Albert chain that’s also available in the shop.

History of the Albert Chain: Albert chains are named after a style of watch chain that Prince Albert wore in the Victorian period. This type of watch chain has a T-bar on one end used to attach the chain through the button hole of a vest or jacket. The other end of the chain usually has a swivel clip to attach a watch or fob.
